100% Superwash Merino, 300m (328yds) per 100g (3.5oz) skein
A – 1 skein

It is not essential to match the gauge exactly for this pattern but a difference in gauge may result in your shawl being a different size or requiring more or less yarn.
The Shellingford shawl is worked from the top down. After the first few rows, the pattern consists of a simple 3 row pattern repeat followed by an increase row.
This is a relatively easy pattern with an easy to remember pattern repeat. You do need to count the increase rows carefully. The pattern works up satisfyingly quickly in our Sarum Sport!
